Can someone help me with my tax exemptions?

I am married with four children. I claim married with 4 dependents and this year I am receiving eight thousand back in taxes. I don’t want a refund any more, I would rather take the money weekly. How many exemptions should I claim? Even if I claim 6 it doesn’t seem like my tax with-holdings will even out at the end of the year.
Wow, make more money a year. Hmm, I should have thought of that sooner. THANKS.

You may want to go the IRS website and look up the withholding calculator. It can help you get a better idea of what to put on your W-4. However, if part of your refund is due to a refundable credit, you need to take that into account as well.

Oh gosh, your refund is not cause of what your paying in, its cause of the eic! If you dont want that money then make more money a year and that will start to fade out down to zero.
I was only being sarcastic while trying to make a point.
The more money you make = Lower refund.

I also have issues with my tax. I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problems. Highly recommend the website.
