Fighting my Debt
A few years ago my career was going great. I had a top job in the city and my bonuses every year were worth more than most couples earn in a year! I had all the money in the world and the lifestyle to go with it! I had a fabulous penthouse apartment, a flashy sports car and I was dining out every night of the week. My social life was crazy and I was burning the candle at both ends but I was convinced that I could handle this pace of life.
Unfortunately, things eventually catch up with you. My partying had gotten out of control and the standard of my work began to slip. I could see it happening with my own eyes but I seemed powerless to stop it. Before I knew it, I had received enough warnings at work for them to release me from my contract! This would have been ok for some people – some people would have been tucking money away but not me. I had no money saved, and I had payments going out of my account for my car, for flat, for everything. In the space of one month I was ruined financially and I thought I would never get out of the situation.
Luckily for me I managed to get some debt help. I found a great company that helped me make sense of all of my financial problems and they set me up with one of their credit card debt relief programs. If it wasn’t for this scheme I think I would still be where I was when everything came crashing down around me. I am now stable, and I have paid most of my debt off. I don’t have the flash car or beautiful penthouse flat anymore, but my choice to find debt consolidation has completely turned my life around. If you have a similar problem make sure you get out there and find help. Sometimes someone else’s perspective can make all the difference to the way you think.
